【我的暑假英语作文】The summer vacation is always a special time for me. It is not only a break from school, but also a chance to relax and do things that I really enjoy. This year, my summer vacation was very interesting and full of fun.

At the beginning of the vacation, I stayed at home and spent most of my time reading books. I love reading, especially novels and stories. I read a few books that I had been wanting to read for a long time. It was great to finally have enough time to focus on them without any pressure from school.

After a few weeks, I went on a trip with my family. We went to a small town by the sea. It was very peaceful and beautiful. Every day, I woke up early and went to the beach. I enjoyed swimming in the sea and playing in the sand. My parents took many photos of me, which made me feel happy.

In the evenings, we usually went to eat seafood. The food was delicious, and I tried some new dishes that I had never tasted before. I also learned how to cook a simple dish with my mom. It was a new experience for me, and I felt proud of myself.

Besides traveling, I also spent some time helping my uncle in his garden. He has a lot of plants, and I helped water them and pick vegetables. It was hard work, but it was also very rewarding. I learned a lot about nature and the importance of taking care of the environment.

During the summer, I also joined a sports club. I played basketball and swimming every weekend. It kept me active and healthy. I made some new friends there, and we often played together after practice.

When the summer came to an end, I felt a bit sad because I didn’t want to go back to school. But I also felt excited because I had so many good memories and experiences from this vacation.

In conclusion, this summer was one of the best ones I have ever had. I learned new things, had fun, and made good memories. I hope I can have another wonderful summer like this next year.
