【描写暑假生活的英语作文】The summer vacation is always a special time for students. It is a period when we can relax, have fun, and also learn new things. This year, my summer vacation was very meaningful and unforgettable.

During the summer, I had a lot of free time. I spent most of it with my family. We went on a trip to the seaside. It was the first time I had seen the ocean. The blue water and the white sand made me feel very happy. I swam in the sea, built sandcastles, and even tried to catch some small fish. That day was full of joy and excitement.

In addition to going out, I also spent some time studying. Although it was summer, I didn’t want to forget what I had learned during the school term. I reviewed my notes and did some extra exercises. I also read a few books that I had been interested in but hadn’t had time to read before. Reading helped me improve my English and broadened my knowledge.

Another thing I did during the vacation was helping my parents at home. I cleaned my room, cooked meals, and even took care of my younger brother for a while. It was a good experience because it taught me responsibility and the importance of family.

I also met some old friends and made new ones. We played games, watched movies, and shared our experiences from the past school year. It was nice to reconnect with them and make new memories.
