【我在校园的第一天英语作文】The first day of school is always a mix of excitement and nervousness. When I arrived at the school gate that morning, I could feel my heart beating fast. It was my first time stepping into this new campus, and I wasn't sure what to expect.

As I walked through the main entrance, I saw many students wearing their new uniforms, chatting and laughing. Some were looking around with curiosity, just like me. The school looked big and modern, with tall buildings and a beautiful garden in the center. I felt both proud and a little shy.

My class teacher welcomed us warmly and introduced herself. She was very friendly and made everyone feel comfortable. Then we had a short tour of the school. We visited the library, the science lab, and the sports field. I was especially impressed by the library because it was so quiet and full of books.

During the first class, I met some new classmates. At first, I didn’t know how to start a conversation, but they were kind and asked me questions about myself. Soon, I started to feel more at home. The teacher gave us an English lesson, and I tried my best to understand everything. Even though I made a few mistakes, the teacher encouraged me and said I was doing well.

By the end of the day, I realized that being nervous was natural, but the experience was also very rewarding. I made new friends, learned something new, and got a better sense of what school life would be like. I couldn’t wait for the next day.

This was not just the first day of school, but the beginning of a new chapter in my life. I hope I can make the most of it and grow as a student and a person.
