Sunny
Today was an exciting day at school! We had our first science experiment in class. Our teacher, Mr. Zhang, brought some materials to show us how static electricity works. It was so cool when we rubbed a balloon on my sweater and then used it to pick up tiny pieces of paper. I couldn’t believe how simple things like this could create something magical.
After school, I went home and helped my mom prepare dinner. She taught me how to make dumplings, which is one of her specialties. We worked together, and soon the kitchen smelled delicious. My little brother was super excited because he loves eating dumplings. When they were ready, we all sat down and enjoyed them with some soy sauce and vinegar.
Before bedtime, I read for half an hour. I’m currently reading Charlotte’s Web, and it’s such a heartwarming story about friendship. I think everyone should read it—it makes you feel good inside.
I hope tomorrow will be just as fun as today. Goodnight!
