Hello, boys and girls! Welcome back to school. This is our first unit in the third-grade English book, and we will start with a very friendly word: "Hello!"
In this unit, we will learn how to introduce ourselves and greet others. Imagine you are meeting a new friend at school. What would you say? That's right, you can say "Hello!" or "Hi!" These are simple and warm words that make people feel welcome.
Let’s practice together. Stand up and look at your classmates. Say "Hello" to them one by one. Remember to smile while you do it. Smiling makes greeting even more enjoyable!
Now, let’s learn some more ways to say hello. You can also say "Good morning" if it’s early in the day, or "Good afternoon" if it’s later. Try saying these phrases out loud. How does it feel?
At the end of the class, don’t forget to say goodbye. You can say "Goodbye," "Bye-bye," or "See you later." Practice these too. It’s all part of being polite and friendly.
Keep practicing these greetings, and soon they will become second nature to you. Next time you see someone new, remember to give them a warm "Hello!" and maybe they’ll respond with a big smile.
Class dismissed! See you next time. Bye for now!
